In coordination with the Municipalidad Distrital de Maranura (MDM) Tim DeWinter from Colectivo Colibri organised two workshops on the use of educational materials for young children with promoters from local PRONOEIs and Kindergarten teachers. The MDM has now hired us to give more workshops and wants to buy the educational boards and sign a formal agreement to work in the future. Cuzco has some of the worst education results in Peru, with many staff in rural areas lacking appropriate education materials to teach children, and Colectivo Colibri is proud to work with local authorities, teachers and all education staff to combat this.
